I suspect the task sequence is hitting an issue when it gets to "just a moment" and then fails, hence the applications are installed either. SCCM then proceeds to install Windows 10 onto the workstation, however, during the final stages it seems to hang for an hour or two at the blue screen where is says "Just a moment".Įventually we can log onto the workstation and it appears the Windows installation has complete, however, the Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader packages arent installed. On a workstation we can boot from pxe and select the task sequence. We have setup a Task Sequence (install an existing image) to deploy Windows 10 and also added the two applications mentioned above to the T/S We have added some applications (MS Office and Adobe Reader) We have distributed the boot images and a Windows 10 Pro image (ie: install.win). Next we would like to utilise SCCM for OSD. We are looking to purchase a number of laptops and desktops and would like to automate the installation of Windows 10 Pro along with other applications onto new latops/desktops. We can now use SCCM to audit and remote control our client computers. Since the release of Windows 10, there have been a few new challenges arise when capturing and applying images. We have ran through the inital configuration, ie: setting up boundary groups, discovery groups, sites, etc and all seems to be working well. We recently setup a single SCCM server (CB 1802).
